Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, known for his strong-willed roles and his role as Theodore “Theo” Huxtable on the TV sitcom “The Cosby Show,” has died at the age of 54. Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday and died of asphyxiation, the official Costa Rican National Police said. Bystanders tried to save him, brought him to shore, and treated him, but he was pronounced dead by the Costa Rican Red Cross, police said.
